Above, Father Garrett and Brother Thomas take time out of their schedule to celebrate the birthday of the Superior General, Fr. Manuel Cortez at the Generalate of the Society of Mary.Fr. Cortez was born in Valencia and entered the novitiate Society of Mary in 1961. He professed his first vows on September 12, 1962 in Elorrio.
He holds degrees in Physical Science and Theology. He has the ability to communicate in English, Spanish, French and Italian.
