All Saints Day

Our Lady of Solitude Monastery is a foundation created from within the Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration of Our Lady of the Angels monastery. While other foundations from that community are still working on their hopes to start building (and finding creative ways to fund their hopes), this community, located in Arizona have finally installed the last of the stained glass windows in their chapel, and it’s pretty neat.

They have included layfolk like Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati and Saint Gianna Molla, our dear Saint Kateri Tekakwitha, and Bl. John Paul II and a lot of “old standbys”. The windows have been executed by Bovard Studio, whose website is a true feast for the eyes. Their chapel windows are just beautiful work and the nuns have chosen really excellent quotes from each saint.
